Maria Sharapova Memphis Champ 2010

Maria Sharapova won her first tournament of the year in Memphis. The win is Maria’s 21st career title.

Sharapova started off the event by beating Shenay Perry 6-2 6-0.

Maria got to the quarters by beating Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-1 6-1.

Sharapova advanced to the semis by beating Elena Baltacha 6-2 7-5.

Maria beat Petra Kvitova 6-4 6-3 to advance to the finals.

Maria beat Sofia Arvidsson 6-2 6-1 to win the championship.

Sharapova moves to 13th in the rankings with the win.
